This afternoon, I had a doctor’s appointment to get my results from my last CT scan. The doctor was pleased with my progress. The CT scan showed the size of the tumors was unchanged. While I would like to have had smaller sizes, the doctor was pleased that they had not grown. In this case, staying the same is progress.
We talked about changing my prescription from Lovenox injections, which I had to give myself Continue reading
“9 And He also told this parable to some people who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and viewed others with contempt: 10 “Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 11 The Pharisee stood and was praying this to himself: ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other people: swindlers, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector Continue reading
It’s been a couple of weeks since I made my last post. I have not given up writing (I know some of you are sighing in disgust), I have been very busy at work that has left this feeble mind weary at the end of the day My eyes tell me that I can’t look at a computer screen all day long.
I have been thinking a lot about my next few posts. One will be about the condition of America from my perspective. Another will be from the series “Things I Don’t Understand…” this time it will be about elitist. And thirdly, I will be writing about “The Early Years” which will be maybe the first five years of being married.
I had been searching for our family photo album for a few months and finally found it behind the Christmas tree in the closet. I have started the process of moving the photos to my computer, so that I can share some of them with you.
Well, it’s time to get to work. Oh, that reminds me, on my way home a few days ago, I was going through the stations on Sirius. My attention was caught by an old James Brown song called “Get Up, Get Into It, Get Involved” (1970). My thoughts went strangely to my church. I doubt Brother Greg or Brother Dale would endorse the song as a theme for us, but I would like to see more of us, “Get Up, Get Into It, Get Involved”.
What’s your thoughts?

And makes her arms strong. Continue reading
I drive about four hundred miles a week. Certainly not a long-haul, cross country truck driver type of log, but enough that I have seen a few cars go by my windows and given the fact that I have been driving for close to fifty years, should establish that I am not a novice driver.
Every morning I pray for safety as I travel for the day. Why? Because the Lord and I both know there are some crazy driver’s out there. You may be one of them or know of others who evoke an emotion from within you that at the very least, leaves you puzzled. Continue reading
